Erdmann Outdoor Living’s Process for Pergola Installation

Here’s how Erdmann transforms backyards with custom-fit pergolas:

Design Consultation

We’ll visit your home in the Phoenix and Tucson suburbs to discuss your style preferences and how you want to use your new space.

Material Selection

Our designers will use 3D renderings to help you choose materials and a layout that best suits your home.

Installation

Once everything is finalized, a skilled crew will complete the installation while treating your home and yard with respect. After the installation is complete, they’ll ensure your satisfaction, demonstrate how to use your new pergola’s features, and outline maintenance steps.

Phoenix and Tucson living revolves around the outdoors

But the same desert climate that makes it appealing also makes it unpredictable. Blazing summer heat and monsoon storms can cut an evening short fast. That's where StruXure Southwest comes in.

As Phoenix and Tucson's authorized StruXure Partner Company, we design and install motorized louvered roof systems built to handle what Arizona throws at them. One touch tilts the louvers open to let in the light or closes them to keep you dry. We also build custom decks to round out your outdoor space. With Erdmann Outdoor Living's roots in the Phoenix Metro going back to 1982, we know what works here.

Experience Motorized Louvered Roofing Experts in Phoenix and Tucson

A well-designed outdoor space should feel comfortable and usable whether you’re hosting friends on a summer evening, relaxing in the shade during the afternoon, or staying outside through an unexpected rain shower. That’s why more homeowners across the Phoenix and Tucson suburbs are investing in motorized louvered roof systems that offer greater control over light, airflow, and weather protection.

At Erdmann Outdoor Living, we design and install custom StruXure louvered roof systems for homeowners who want more than a basic patio cover. As an exclusive StruXure partner dealer, we provide a complete design-build experience, handling everything from concept development and permitting to installation and finishing details. Since 1982, our team has helped homeowners throughout the northwest and western Phoenix and Tucson suburbs create luxury outdoor spaces built around long-term durability, functionality, and style.

Pergolas Built for the Phoenix and Tucson Climate

Erdmann Outdoor Living engineers our pergolas for Phoenix and Tucson demanding climate. Heavy-gauge aluminum construction means the louvers and frames resist rust, corrosion, and fading, while advanced powder coatings preserve color and finish under intense desert sun.

Louvered roof pergolas feature watertight construction and integrated drainage systems, keeping patios drier through sudden monsoon storms and summer downpours. Homeowners receive comprehensive coverage, including manufacturer warranties and Erdmann’s five-year labor warranty.

Why Choose Us for Motorized Screen Installation in Phoenix and Tucson?

Motorized screens work best when they're planned as part of the broader structure rather than retrofitted as an afterthought. Erdmann Outdoor Living handles design, permitting, and installation under one roof, so you're not juggling multiple contractors.

Every project starts with a free consultation and a custom rendering so you can see the finished installation before permits are ever pulled. Permitting is handled in-house, which takes much of the frustration out of the outdoor living design process.

Just got my pergola done by these guys! Everything looks amazing. The design was exactly what we were looking for and everything was completed on time. John, the project manager always kept me updated and his crew Hayden, Samuel, and David did a great job as well. Highly recommend!
